St. Petersburg

After visiting cold and rainy Tallinn, we popped in a little plane and headed over to St. Petersburg. Hubby grabbed a Hop-on/Hop-off bus tour brochure, and we immediately started walking...and walking and walking. There's a reason this trail is done by bus. My poor little feet were so tired, but we got the lay of the land in the first 6 hours of our trip.

The second day we walked a bit more and then headed over to the gorgeous Peterhof Palace. It was a nice little ferry ride away. We got to walk through the lovely grounds and see the amazing palace.

One bit of advice. Do NOT listen to the lady behind the information tour desk! We went there early the second morning to ask when the Hermitage museum closed. It is at six NOT at eight so we completely missed seeing the inside of the second largest museum in the world...boo!
