When I first moved to Dublin, I got suckered into buying a bike. Hubby was like, "Think of the romantic places we can go on a bike". SOLD! ....Then I used it to cycle from Ballsbridge to Phoenix park and nearly tipped into a bus on the tight roads.
After that experience. SOLD- The bike was gone!
But, being on the campus this week, the buildings are very far away so... I had to get over my "Don't get hit by the bus" fear and popped on to this bad boy. It helps that he's pretty. It didn't help that even at the lowest seat setting, it was too high for me :(
If I had a pretty bike, some bike lanes and no cars on the road, I may re-consider getting a bike (kid-sized of course) back in Dublin :)
